Day Late...Dollar Short

Once again I seem to be a day late (4 to be exact) and a dollar short (we won't actually go there) when it comes to keeping up with our LID anniversaries ~ so whoo hoo, hoorah! We've made it 16 long months and how many more months do we wait??? Survey says...

It's been one of those days!!

Have you ever had one of those days where you literally clock more hours in your car than anywhere else? Take kids to school, drive home, remember you forgot to stop by bank on way home~ so back out to bank, and back home again, drive to school to pick up son for dentist appointment, drive him back to school, drive back home only to get back in the car to pick up kids from school, drop off 2 of 3 kids with dad at work, drive remaining child to orthodontist appointment, drive back home and attempt to park it in the driveway for the evening...should I go on???

Though I cannot complain, at least my day wasn't like any of these:

Here's hoping your day was 'smooth sailing' ~ :-)

Sun, sun and more sun!!!

I love summer. I love sun, sunny days and everything about it. I love the warmth on your skin, wearing flip flops, swimming ~ I love it all!

I can't believe a whole month has gone by without a single post. I think I am going to have to 'fire' my blogger - oh yeah, that's me! YIKES.

So, I guess the next best thing would be to give you a month in review. Let's see, husband went to Albania for 10 days (small little country just above Greece - across water from boot of Italy), transported children to school, sports, church more times than I can count, celebrated husband's big 40 (or rather his 10th anniversary of turning 30), our 15 month anniversary of being logged in came and went, referrals matches arrived from CCAA for those logged in 10/26/2005-11/1/2005, throw in a couple of paydays, loads of laundry & dishes, planning for our church's VBS summer program and I think that about covers it.
Did I mention how much I love summer. Okay, okay, so we aren't quite there yet, but we've had some incredible sunny days (65-73 degrees) and what a taste it has given me for what's to come. We again are doing our best to keep busy during this excrutiating long wait for our daughter. We are trying to remain hopeful that things will begin to speed up and we'll be united with our baby girl very soon. We'll keep you posted!
