Today marks our 28th month of waiting since being logged in for Abigail. Wondering how many more LID Anniversaries we will be acknowledging (at this point they are really nothing to celebrate, thus the acknowledging part).

We are getting excited about this next batch of referrals (actually, we have been excited about every batch)...we will hopefully be able to tell if we are July or August! Let the countdown begin!

Ruth, It WILL happen. I know it will. I wish you would have been traveling the same time Kelly and I would. It would have been neat to traipse around Guangzhou with you.
Ruth, I know how much your heart longs for Abby, and your day will come. As much as you want to be in control of the timing of this, you know you cannot be (oh how frustrating and hard that concept is!), I understand and hate the wait as much as you do.
This verse helped me greatly, and I posted it in a prominent place on my blog -- just to remind me every day...

For what it's worth, I think you WILL travel before mid October. I think you will get your referral in July and will travel in late September. Of course, I know nothing and claim no expertise in the wild and wacky world of International Adoption!
