I'm so excited I think I'll celebrate!
Well...it's official ~ the next batch of referrals are here. The CCAA has matched those families who were logged in by October 13, 2005 with beautiful babies. Congratulations to all of you! And a Hip Hip Hooray for those families who's dossiers are finally moved out of review and into the match room.
Just think...only 105 more days need to be matched until our LID of 1/27/2006.

If they continue to average 16-17 days at a time, you'll be getting your in August. And, depending on what part of August, will travel either in late September or not until November, thanks to the annual conference or whatever they have in Guangzhou every October.
My sis got Katie's referral Aug 25 and we traveled Nov 1.
To K1:
I think the thought of an August referral makes me sad albeit the reality of # of days that CCAA has been averaging! I suppose I must hunker down for some more patience.
Thanks for visiting our site and for your comments. I would post them on your site but there isn't a link :-)
I don't have a site of my own. I just have a blogger ID so I can post on all the blogs I've become addicted to reading since I learned about them.
If you'd like to follow the (almost) daily happenings of my niece, my sister's site is www.katiesantics.blogspot.com.
Our daily journal while we were in China is at www.myadoptionwebsite.com/katie

Oh my goodness!
I got on today to check comments (after being in bed sick for the past week with the flu) and had the chance to visit your daily journal in China site -
I found out that I had come across this site while you guys were in China and found myself drawn to it as I could relate to having 3 boys and adopting a girl as well as your sister took her whole family to China and we've been undecided about it ourselves. Yet, I remember reading daily about the adventures you all were having and told my husband about it yet didn't bookmark the page and couldn't find it again. WOW! I think I was truly meant to find that site again and you made it happen - thank you!!!
By the way, your niece is absolutely beautiful. I can imagine how proud you are.
Ruth,
God does work in wonderous ways, doesn't He? As a rule, I am (well, okay, was) a lurker. I don't like to 'impose' where I am not known and possibly not welcome, but I was also drawn to your site because of the parallels between your family and my sis', and because you are here in WA.
Want to hear another 'coincidence'?
Your name is Ruth, which is the name my sister REALLY wanted to name her daughter... except their last name is Buth (rhymes with Ruth). So, even though Ruth is a beautiful Biblical name, she (and the rest of us) thought it would be cruel to name her something that would open her up to teasing from other children. She talked about in in her PRE-referral blog www.waiting-for-our-girl.blogspot.com
You can check that one out too, if you'd like and experience HER frustration and exasperation at the glacially slow process of waiting for referral.
