I'm off to build an Ark

I copied these pictures were taken from a fellow blogger friend's site (thanks K1) to show how wet it really is. These are of downtown Woodinville - just 11 miles from my home.

I guess I am off to make my lumber list...

I hear ya!!! I experienced it first hand yesterday. I was coming home from school at UW Bothell and it took me an hour and half to get from the Bothell exit to the Woodinville exit (less than a mile), where we were detoured. At the exit ramp I looked to the left into Woodinville and it was a complete lake. When I was coming to campus at 10:30am 1/2 the lanes west bound were already flooded. I am staying home today and I am so glad I live on a hill;)!

So sorry about your gross weather. Glad you're all safe and dry (your cars, too!).

Where is that cool ark house anyway?

I can still see the beautiful header but still no background:(

The Hettinga's are off to Korea today...YEAH! They will be home on the 12th so it will be only a week long trip. Can't wait to see the little guy and hear all about it!

Hi Ruth,

Hey, don't worry about borrowing the pictures. I borrowed them from the newspapers and news websites myself.

Glad you were able to make it to Costco. Luckily I wasn't scheduled to work tonight, so I haven't tried to go into Woodinville.

We'll see how it is by Saturday when I work next.

Hope your Ark works! I think it'll hold a few people. That thing is ginormous!
Hope you dry out soon!
