Truly I think that is about the only thought I have right now floating through my head that describes how I feel about the most recent referral report:
The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before December 14, 2005.
Waiting for word about the next referral matches is very much like swimming around with jellyfish. One has to be careful not to get "stung" by the disappointment of number of days referred.
In spite of that, a big huge Congratulations to all those families who are celebrating the arrival of their referrals. Only 44 more LID's to go.

ugh.
If they continue to do an average of only LID 7 days per referral, you won't get yours until June '08.
If the Heavens moved and they started doing 14 LID days per preferral again, you'd get yours in March '08.
Judging by the ages of the babies being referred lately, I think your daughter may have been born recently.
Thanks for the comment & visiting us!! I am still counting on April'08!
Hope you are "high & dry"!

Hi! Yes, Lilyann was a waiting child. Our original LID was a year ago this month. Her special need is delayed development. She was only 3 lbs the day she was found which they determined was the day she was born. She is doing wonderful! She is making so much progress already, and I am amazed at how far she has come emotionally and developmentally in just one month! She is a doll, and very cuddly and sweet, we just lover her!
Wow, you are getting so close to your referral! I can't wait to see little Abigails face sometime soon in the new year!!
Blessings!
Michelle
